It is a sad day when our freedom of speech is trampled upon in the media. It seems that we are losing more freedoms every day. I don’t understand it. George Bush was lampooned with vitriol, and no one raised a fuss. But now a rodeo clown makes fun of President Obama, and he is vilified as if he was depicting the Prophet Mohammed (that’s another issue). Wear a mask of Jesus Christ and no one bats an eyebrow. We need to express outrage at the loss of freedom that this represents, and once again be proud of a nation that allows open dissension and even Fred Phelps. It is OK to be an idiot in America! It may not be wise, but at least we respect your right of freedom of speech.
